I learned my hunting chops over 45 years ago from my grandfather. From those early small game trips to today chasing North American big game with bow and gun, the passion remains. Whitetail and Elk are especially rewarding pursuits, with the memories of sharing camp with friends being the best part of any hunt. I have served on chapter boards of DU, WTU, PF, and SCI, and have partnered with many industry leaders to promote our sport.

Hunting to me is not a hobby or a job, but a passion that I enjoy sharing with my family and friends. That feeling of grabbing those antlers from the deer that I harvested is indescribable. All that hard work and dedication that I put forth leading up to that moment is something that I wouldn’t change for the world.

My priorities have drastically changed over the last 40 plus years of hunting. My current focus is on bringing young hunters into our sport and sharing with them my experience and knowledge. My goal and desire is to develop in them my passion and appreciation for the opportunities that await us in the outdoors. All of the numerous trophy whitetails and turkeys I have been lucky enough to harvest pale in comparison to the look on the face of that young hunter when they harvest their first squirrel, rabbit, turkey, whitetail, etc. The enjoyment from watching a young hunter grow through their experience gained from practice and time in the field is what really drives me in our sport today.
